Our team at Campbell Brown Planning recently had the privilege of participating in a half-day cultural capability training session with Donna Barlow-Rolleston, which was both insightful and invaluable. Donna so effectively demonstrated, understanding the tribal landscape and Te Tiriti is essential to navigating the present and shaping the future. Her session also reinforced the idea that to know where we are heading, we must first understand who we are. By deepening our knowledge of Aotearoa’s history, iwi relationships, and the principles of Te Tiriti, we are better equipped to engage meaningfully and responsibly in our work. Donna’s expertise, guidance, and engaging delivery made this session both enlightening and highly relevant to our mahi. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to learn from Donna and highly recommend her training to anyone seeking to deepen their cultural capability and understanding of Aotearoa’s iwi landscape.
